Summary: This is not a hike so much as it is a bit of a scramble to the vortex located on Airport Mesa
Challenge Level: Easy, but you need to hike up a steep trail
Hiking Distance: Less than 1/4 mile round trip
Trailhead Location: The trailhead is located on Airport Road.
Description: From the parking area on Airport Road, you'll see a tall rock formation in front of you. Follow the main trail east toward the rock and you'll come to a sign and another trail in about 200 feet. Turn left and follow the trail that leads to "Overlook Point". The top of the rock formation is considered to be the vortex.
For those of you who have a GPS unit, I have GPS data available for the hike which include "tracks," the route and waypoints.
