Summary: A hike up to a beautiful mesa, then on to an overlook with red rock views all around
Challenge Level: Moderate
Hiking Distance: From the parking lot to the edge of Brins Mesa you'll hike 1.5 miles. If you hike to the scenic overlook, you'll hike another 0.7 mile, for a total round trip of about 4.4 miles
Trailhead Location: The parking area is located north of the Jordan Park Subdivision.
Description: After you the mesa by climbing up 550 feet, follow the right trail about 0.7 mile and climb up on a large rock formation for a scenic view of Mormon Canyon to the east and red rock views all around. It is magnificent! Total elevation gain from the parking lot to the scenic overlook is about 1000 feet.
