Llama Trail

Summary:  This loop hike provides views of Rabbit Ears, Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte and Cathedral Rock

Challenge Level:  Easy to Moderate

Hiking Distance:  About 2, 4 or 6 miles round trip

Trailhead Directions:  The parking area is located on SR 179 just north of Bell Rock. The trail starts on the south side of the parking area.

Description:  The south end of Llama Trail is connected to the Courthouse Butte Loop trail, near the Village of Oak Creek. The north end of the Llama Trail is connected to the Little Horse Trail. Llama essentially parallels the Bell Rock Pathway. This trail is on the north side of Bell Rock, approaches Lee Mountain and provides outstanding views of Bell Rock, Courthouse Butte, Lee Mountain and Cathedral Rock. There isn�t much shade on this hike. If you use the Little Bell Trail you have a 2 mile hike; if you use the Bail Trail you have a 4 mile hike; and if you go all the way to the Little Horse Trail you have a 6 mile hike.
